Corn Chowder

One of the two soups offered at my dining hall today was corn chowder. Usually, I never choose creamy soup other than clam chowder at the dining hall, but today, I decided to reach for the corn chowder.

I have never had corn chowder with potato in it, but the potato went well with the milky heavy soup.

The soup reminded me of my grandma's corn chowder... It's just a simple Campbell Soup Clam Chowder, but the taste of it reminded me of being at her home, sitting down at her kitchen, with her making the chowder as she toasts a thick slice of bread in her toaster.

The soup kind of made me miss home.

It's almost Thanksgiving, and people are leaving, and perhaps that's why I keep on thinking about home.
